What if it doesn’t get better in 2009?
DTTD quotes a majority of economists who predict that the recession isn’t letting up any time soon, and asks readers: “How would your fundraising plans change if you knew for a fact that there would be no recovery until 2010?”

Americans continue generous giving
Marc Pitman examines results from Giving USA, which show that American charitable contributions grew 3.9 percent in 2007, despite the tough economic climate. Perhaps DTTD would explain this by saying the recession just hasn’t caught up to donors yet, and the nonprofit sector will begin to really suffer this year. What do you think?
